WCMB News

WCMB News serves the communities of Dauphin, Roblin, Russell, Swan Valley and The Pas. This website acts as a central hub for all five community newspapers. When designing this site, we put extra effort into making sure it was user friendly to both site visitors and newspaper staff as well as they rely on this site to publish articles online and distribute their weekly online newspaper.

We chose to separate each individual newspaper to different sections of the website, complete with their separate branding and colors. Within each section, the different papers can publish news, sports, community events, job postings and more. The final result is essentially five different websites built into one, with custom access levels and roles for each newspaper.
